Committee on languages of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further -the Committee) is department of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, carrying out in the competence realizable and control-supervising functions, and also interbranch coordination in a field of activity, carried toits competence.

The primary goals of Committee are realization of a state policy in the field of development of languages,control and supervision of observance of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan about languages.

The committee carries out the activity according to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, certificates of the President and the Government ofthe Republic of Kazakhstan, other normative legal certificates, and also the present Position.

The committee is the legal person in the organizational-legal form of official body, has the isolated property, press and stamps with the name in a state language, forms of the established sample,and also according to the legislation of the account inbodies of Committee of exchequer of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The committee enters incivil-legal relations from own name.

The committee has the right to act as the part of civil-legal relations on be half of the state if it is authorized on it in conformity with the legislation.

The committee concerning the competence of the order established by the legislation takes the decisions which are made out by orders of chairman which have a binding force interritory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The limit of regular number and structure of Committee are affirmed by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Full name of Committee is Official body «Committee of languages of the Ministry of Culture and the Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

Financing of activity of Committee is carried out from the republican budget.

The Committee is forbidden to enter contractual attitudes with subjects of business for performance of the duties, being functions of Committee.
